Artificial Intelligence, also known as AI has become a discussion in today's society more and more. It is used in every form of media, in some type of way. AI being a hot topic has been for both its good and bad reasons, and how we are using these reasons in our society. 

AI has helped revolutionize journalism and news for generations to come. The Benefit of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Journalism is one of the most, if not the most career fields affected by AI. This tool that has been handed to us can helps us edit, write news articles, and create headers for blogs like mine above. This advantage allows journalist more time to focus on getting the true news story, and the gritty details. This tool overall, is beneficial mostly in my opinion because of how much time it can save you. 

The Negative of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

When we are given the world at our fingertips, many people in our society use this advanced tool as a way of getting out of putting in any effort or just completing a simple task. In Mass Media, this can be detrimental, because journalist may begin to only rely on AI instead of getting the true details through their own writing. In our society, we have to be able to put our full trust in what we are reading and consuming, as valuable and credible information. With too much of an influx of AI in a journalist's writing, it doesn't replicate the same emotion as a real human story. Therefore, will eventually become less meaningful, won't be consumed, or trusted. 

Overall, the tool that is Artificial Intelligence can help the field of journalism and news tremendously. It has the ability to make journalist in media lives a little bit simpler and easier. However, AI should never replace the actual voice and human emotion behind the "story" we are calling news. We as a society have to create a balance between AI helping us and hindering us to where we cannot confirm whether a news story was written by an actual journalist, or through a computer.
